Where is everyone #5

Well, admission to the John Deere museum is free, so I know what part of my day is going to involve tomorrow. It's about an hour walk from the hotel, so I'm going to have to plan to spend a bunch of time in that area of town.

 

Probably, we are still moving equipment around WVa. And Va. For now. Suppose to start moving some machines out of NY pretty soon.

 

You will really enjoy that. Took my boys up there when they were small. My youngest was a John Deere fein lol.

 

So I drink, not while driving, and mostly weekends, except when palling around with farmer friends. Which seem they do that a lot. No issues. But have been working on a farmer friends Mack. So it hasn't went fast like I told him because I have alot going on. But finally got it apart and its bad. Clutch housing and flywheel housing is shot due to bolts came out and its beat up. Now nothing was tight, except two engine mount bolts. Two came out with a 1/2 impact, holding the wrench on top myself. But the other two my 1" CP struggled to break them loose. When I was done I said "man that shook to hold upside down and beat me up". Now Im about 6' tall and 285lbs. My buddy since kinderguard is 5'7" and 135lbs. Says F-You I was holding the wrench! I said well its your truck! Lol I couldnt run both!

I'm not even a tractor guy but I'm really looking forward to it. I have a cousin on my wife's side that is a JD fanatic and I know will be ultra jealous I'm going.

 

Any of you folks watch Highway Thru Hell? These tunnels are a 2 minute drive and 5 minute hike off Othello Road, just outside Hope. 4 of them there. Checked them out a few weeks ago. Don't think you'd get a tractor trailer in there but a bobtail should fit. Lots of tour busses were there.

I thought I was only one to go to Peterbilt or kenworth that's open all night to get a nap. If you ever need it MHC in little rock has some street parking I have used. Pull in the second gate, make your loop come out by the thermoking is the easiest turn around. Then pick your spot
