This is a pretty good brew for $5 for a six pack. Where I'm from, $5 USD will buy you two and a half beers this size.

Whew that takes me back to 8th grade. Steel reserve was like licking the can for flavor. 6 for $5 is about triple what we paid then.

I have family out where you're from and they keep telling me how everything is so much cheaper on the other side of the border.

    LOL

I don't have a whole lot of money to spend and was looking for something to carry me through the weekend. It's cold and doesn't taste like complete ###.

I can't get over how cheap any booze is down here. I'm used to throwing $40-60 at a good bottle of scotch, but could get it down here for almost half price (without converting dollars). Getting it up to the border is the major problem.

I guess taking booze back is a no no?

I have never crossed either border north or south, but may someday in a vehicle might be handy info to have

Just got home about 15 minutes ago from Oregon. Have some big life changes coming. Went up to Hillsboro and got an apartment, then went to a chemical hauling company that my buddy works for and got a job. Moving sometime in the middle of October. Finally getting out of this burned up #### hole.

Not a problem getting it across the border (we are allowed a single 40 oz bottle of hard liquor, a couple? bottles of wine or a case of beer), it's transporting it in the truck that I am wary of. That whole FMSCR regulation prohibiting alcohol in the truck at any time and all.

North Dakota Hillsboro? That's really close to my neck of the woods.
