How do you guys store straps so they don't unravel. My trailer came with this already built in, but it's getting pretty worn out .Just looking for ideas before I build something new . I have a shop and the skill to build anything. Post what you got.

I built 2 shelf’s In my headache rack that hold 8 each. They rest on there sides. I have big rubber bands I put around them so they stay tight.
I like what you already have there though.blairandgretchen, Lav-25 and not4hire Thank this. -
This works if it is full. If half they unravel.

That’s the reason for the #7 rubber bands. The ones at the truck stop are about $1 each. I bough a bag generic ones of 50 for $19 though.

I usually leave mine in the winches. The portables I wind up and put a rubber band around them.

I keep mine in my side steps that go up to catwalk. The extras I have are stored in a milk crate, keeps them nice and neat

If it's broke... just fix it.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Second, I like the way your box is organized. @not4hire noted my solution to unraveling, setting a wound strap sideways. I use a Rubber Made bin in my side box to organize my wound straps and use the sideways straps as necessary to stop unfurling.Tug Toy and PoleCrusher Thank this. -
Don’t have a picture, but I use large milk type crates.
The size would hold 6 gallons. They fit nice in box and lock stack.
