If in training and waiting for another trainer, even in the hotel, he was likely on salary and was being paid. Besides that, a company can make any policy they want, including you cant drink at home on your time off. If you dont like said policy, dont work for them.

He bought a big ol bottle of bourbon and couldn’t finish it all that night. That’s the company’s designated motel and housekeeping has been instructed to look for violations of company policy. There is a reason why I mentioned the PPV PORN in my first post.

    Edit:

I thought about it and I figured that perhaps a better explanation is needed.

If you are interested in a company that advertises itself as “been in business since 1939” or ‘family owned and operated’ or (shudder) a “Christian” owned, let me explain what that means:

You are expected to behave as if you are in church. YET, they will pork you in the arse faster than the soap can hit the floor. The old guy that started the place went through the Depression, tough as nails, but had the utmost respect for any hand that actually wanted to work. His wife was the same way. His son and grandson have never done hard work. They went to college and rubbed elbows with people who believe that working with their hands is beneath them. Maximum dollar for the minimum driver. And they will base ALL of you according to the minimum driver.
Where in sports, the bigger the talent, the more you have to pay. In trucking, they find the least talented player, and change the rules so he can play. So don’t think the free hat, tee shirt and the sunshine injection in Uranus means you’re part of the family.

    You really want to know?

When I first got into the iron, I did the same crappy workouts that everyone else did. Put on a little size, but I wasn’t big like I wanted to be. The game changer came when I realized that if I planned the day before the workout, I did much better. If I planned the week before what I would do on what day. If I meditated before on the lift, I would blow by my previous limit. You see the guys with the earbuds? They need the earbuds to block everything out. I don’t. Focus, shoot! Getting big and strong is a mental game where the mind trains the body to obey. It’s the same as in the martial arts and fighting and even shooting.

It gives you the edge in all physical activities. Even trucking. Need to sleep, but not sleepy? Click, lights out. Funny thing is I set the alarm, but eyes click wide open ready to go 10 minutes before the alarm.
Now I get up early. I don’t like to rush. I am going to take a shat and I am going to let it gravity feed. I will be relaxed and wide awake. And I already have the week planned.

If you have not, take up meditation.

Seriously, make them prove she took a pic in your room, if they can’t, sue them.
Still nonsense either way regardless of who pays for the room, not on duty, not going on duty then alcohol is legal.
How would you feel if company was vegan and told you all you can eat while in hotel is tofu?

I believe I might be with you on this one, but to me the game changer is, from what I understand, the alcohol was bought at Walmart. No biggie by itself, but then was transported to the hotel room in the tractor, game changer here, truck = company. Look I'm not going to insinuate anything here, but could it be someone dropped a dime on him, once company found out they started to investigate and sent in room service to verify? Don't know just saying.

yeah, if they cannot prove their allegations that they made in writing, they cannot defend a libel suit. As such, you can and would likely succeed in forcing them to comply Commercially libelous. They'd be liable for all lost wages from future employment going forward , if you could show that future employer did not hire you based on your DAC report. Talk to avvo

Ok transporting it in the truck is a no no but it isn't the ops problem, I assume he wasn't driving so that isn't his problem, it is the drivers problem and that driver should be fired for allowing it.

So if you and I are driving down the road, you driving, and we get pulled over and I have weed in my possession, you are saying it's your problem not mine? When can you pick me up, well go to Laredo TX to pick up a shipment.
