Look lets face it we all done dumb things. The OP did a stupid move, not saying that's what he does all the time, but in this case he did. Liquor in hotel can be challenged, in company truck not so. Did you know that FMCSA allows liquor and guns on trucks. Its the companies that squashes it. A trucker is allow to go from hotel to get beer and come back to hotel, can't drink on truck, but can carry back to hotel and log PC.

All my life I've done the same thing with the alarm always wake up a few min before it goes off. Even switching schedules around its weird almost like I subconsciously make myself get up before the buzzer goes off. I haven't tried meditation before but those Buddhist might be on to something. I am not a Buddhist or anything from the eastern religions. I am just me. With that said, my Korean Sensei taught me that if you were to be halfway awake before dawn after a good sleep, stay in that situation and think about a problem or stressor. You will find that by staying in that state so to speak clears the head and you can have the clarity to really examine a problem.

I happen to be a thinker, if I can think on it long enough I can figure something out. It takes longer sometimes. Some of my life has been determined long before sunrise during those times of really deep thinking that I cannot do while awake. That's another reason I value the dentist visit. 40 minutes on gas back into that quiet state I can work on whatever the problem is for the day while the lady works on the teeth.

To be honest I never consider the suing the hotel part. Now that I think about it that's a absolute possibility. It is only natural I dislike people rifling through my stuff. Pay me.

I don't know what else I can say that is germaine to this topic and still be useful. We'll see how it goes.

 

This is probably one of the reasons CRE is thought so highly of.
If your not allowed alcohol in their room that your occupying then you screwed up.
But a policy that states you may not consume alcohol except home time is a joke.
I'm a legal adult and follow federal guidelines pertaining to alcohol so if I want a beer legally why shouldn't I be able to have one?
