    Hello guys
hope u all are good and maybe know something on this issue
Trying to get some help here
Got a 2009 volvo vnl / isx cummings with a Gen3 fully auto tranny.
Couple of weeks back truck start to act up!!! Everytime will hit a hole or bridge junction on the road will loose acceleration, u will need to let the pedal go and will catch again. Up to that point no to big of a deal but fast got pretty bad.
At the worst part the computer will go crazy it turn on the fan clutch erratic and will put tranny in service code.
    Giving a many codes
0241 wheel base vehicle speed data erratic
0285 SAE J1939 Multiplexing PGN timeout error Abnormal update rate
So far change the pedal sensor (whole assembly)
Speed sensor, wire harness on tranny,
Inertia brake( due that had a leak on sensor as a precaution got that out of the way too)
And have the control of the tranny coming tomorrow to replace that too,due that the electrician found a fault on the control but my got feeling is telling me that the control does not have to anything with that.
Right now u can start the truck and will run perfect once heats up the problem will occur to the point that truck will not run at all or will run in 2 gear and not change, also dashboard will died while this is happening u will not get rpm, speed while theproblem is at play,if goes away all works normal again
Any previous knowledge is very much appreciated
    Thanks

Sounds like you have a loose or chafed ground wire or power wire, check starter wires and all wires to ECM for chafing or loose wires.

    Thanks for the replay
All that has been checked and replaced. Now the VECU is on the way to me, looks like that may be it!! Not sure but is pointing that way
