I have used them, on two different trucks, and know of a couple of other truck owners that have gotten great results with them. Both of my cases involved noticable wheel hop, both were aluminum outer, steel inner wheels, and as I stated, the Tru-Balance gizmos did the trick. One fellow I know had a problem when he replaced his brake drums with a cheaper brand that had slightly larger wheel stud holes, making it hard to center the drums. I don't know what was the cause of the second fellow's problem, but we all use the same independent mechanic, which is how I found out about them.

thank you for a reply Droy, i ordered a set to center all my drives and steers, going to install tomorrow or Saturday. will tell about the result.

Did you get the "temporary" set, or the ones that stay on?
Need to do a brake job in the VERY near future, was thinking of ordering a set that stayed on the truck, but seems like I heard you have to tell the Tru-Balance people what brand of drums you have. -could be wrong about that though. -
I'm going to the MATS and I hope they have a booth there with discounted prices. I'll definitely pick up a full set.

I had a steer vibration on my 2000 Pete along with cupping wear in tires. Put on a set up front. They did the trick. Never had an issue with drives, so didn't put them on the rears.

i got a set of ones that stay on, not tried on the road yet. while instaling them i found that left leaf spring on my front drive axle cracked, so now i am in the prosses of replacing one.
