There's a little hole in the wall smoke house around the the corner from the station. You walk in and there's a smoke tint on the ceiling and walls, it is very clean however. The lady who owns it knows us by name. They are open Tues-Sat, 11:00 until the food runs out, usually about 1-1:30. It is not uncommon for the line to be out the door around 12:00. A true Mom & Pop little restaurant.
They made their own sauce, and now have it bottled by a company and sell it retail. The beans are made fresh every day. They're just a bit on the firm side, so you know they didn't come from a can.
$12.50 gets you 3 meats, beans and cold sides (2 kinds of slaw, vinegar cucumbers, various peppers, pickles, macaroni salad & texas toast.

 

My kind of eatin right there.

Yep... buddy works a towing service, showed a pic earlier of a dodge pickup in a big ### hurry with 2 kids, crossed the line and kissed a Freightliner. Sad!

 

Dang bug hit right in line with camera.

 

Seen 3 today total, only got a pic of 2.

 

Got a call on a load from where I just delivered going to Huntington, ( after I done left of course ) don't load till in the morning so I guess this is my view for tonight. Harborcreek, PA.

 

Yea the food looks good.... but I like the Power Wagon too . Use to ride in one back in the earlier 70's.

 

The cookies and pie and the Coke...undecided. The chips depend on whether that’s a sandwich or a sammich. Those insanely beautiful grapes, the food that kings were fed by harems of silk clad exotic women, make me hate you.
