Per diem?

now i understand why a lot of drivers complain about their paychecks are being subtracted with all these "extras/deals" that they signed up for

 

The biggest problem is people use the wrong terms.
Per-diem is the mileage based deductions that in moist cases is a scam that companies push as it saves them taxes.

There is also the M&IE (Meal and Incidental Expenses) This is the daily allowance that is filed as a deduction at the end of the year.

 

Another per diem threads, another trail of ignorant posts.

If you have questions about per diem, contact a tax attorney.

Over the years I've only seen 2 or 3 people on this board who fully understand it ... None of the posted in this thread.
