LOL.....Im well aware of this, but anything over 8 axles in that area is headache in itself, but atleast you dont need a "emissions compliant" truck to run there.
The difference is I like running California and I dont even mind sneaking in and sneaking out, I just think the regulations are ridiculous. When a state dictates what kinda truck you're allowed to own, that's just sad.bigguns, PoleCrusher, 7-UP and 18 others Thank this. -
@BigBob410 , man that looks excellent.
-
Thanks man! I was surprised how well it came out doing it by hand. Little by little I will work my way back.
-
I'm with you. Made a world of difference, that's for sure

First, are you trying to turn it the right way? It might be reverse threaded, and instructions have a bad habit of not instructing on that crucial detail when applicable.
If that's not the problem, I would break out my 36" 1/2" drive breaker bar which usually does the trick. If you don't have one, you can put two wrenches together to get more torque. -
I think what you got made there will work. Maybe put a impact on it with low power and see if it will rattle it loose.
If that don't work I think your idea of welding a larger nut will be fine, just have a wet towel ready to cool it down. Good luckpeterbilt_2005, cke, Zeviander and 13 others Thank this. -
@BigBob410 , what kinda polish are you using?
-
Well, the jam nut is right hand thread so I think the washer thing would have to be as well. Hopefully my homemade socket will do the trick. I have plenty of breaker bar if the socket will hold up.cke, Zeviander, MagnumaMoose and 12 others Thank this.

.....
This scares me more than you can ever imagine. Dam you, Six.
Now I’m gonna have nightmares.
