Lol you dont seem to under stand that w2 pays 7.5% for those and 1099 pays 15%...

Since you clearly dont understand all of what you owe in taxes you havent been paying them. It will catch up. Irs has every penny you earned recorded and will send you a bill not for a few thousand.. They will wait several years and send one for tens of thousands...

 

Most you paid in taxes on 80k was 1800..... Give it time simeone will be wanting there money and they will get it.

Ss and medicare on 80k is 12k alone for a 1099... Thats not even state and federal...

 

While I agree w2 is what company hands should demand just out of complicity being a w2 employee you will receive benifits I do have to rebuttle the numbers you guys are rattleing off.. While self employment taxes are higher, being paid on 1099 opens the door to a bunch of diffrent deductions you can use That w2 employees can not. . with these deductions and actually being able to claim pier diem next year since being a “contractor” I highly doubt 1099 pays anymore taxes than w2.. just remember with these deductions you income will be lower on paper so something to think about when applying for loans or when you do retire and want to start collection ssi .. this is something I would talk to a cpa about

He correct about deductions but since you have very little grasp on the taxes i highly doubt you been keeping up on that. Or actualy paying them when required. You will find out eventualy like i said but it be a few years and the bill will be in the 10s of thousands... Payable in 30 days.

Is this post even real? No, dude, $1500 on 1099 per week is not ok. I feel like this is a troll post.

 

They are foreigners with trucks. I worked for them. Only making 700 a week on 1099. They make promises but in reallity you dont get enough miles. You have to stop to cat scale amd loose time an money. Its a f mess.

 

When Express12$ says he makes triple what w2 pays, you know his math skills suck too. If he were indeed getting triple what a W2 paid driver gets, no one on here is going to believe him, except for some guys with poor reading comprehension skills.
