You ask for too much. This would be like having a super power

The reason for no power to windows when key is off. Is security. What prevents someone from slipping a wire down onto a window button when truck is parked.
omarbaca Thanks this. -
Your sure?? Power door locks are almost always constant power. What's the difference between windows and doors? If your a thief ,your gonna find a way. If any reason it should be for safety for getting out during an emergency.omarbaca Thanks this.

Its easy to figure out... Buy a test light from the truck stop for like $10. The with the key off, clip the one end of test light to a good ground (door frame or the like) then start looking for a live circuit. Once you find it jump power from constant power source to fuse for windows.
If your not sure which is for windows... With key on check by pulling one fuse at a time and trying to operate windows, when the windows quit working you found the right one. -
That won't work that will power up the key on side of the ignition just like his key was on ....unless he cuts the power to that fuse so it doesn't back feedmslashbar and Cattleman84 Thank this.

Why do you want your windows to work with the key off?

I don't want to turn the key on all the time just to put my windows down or up.
