Thanks to all of you here.

I'm a new driver, just a month or so out of school. I learned a lot here before I jumped in with both feet. I've lurked around without saying anything so I thought I should make an account and say Hi. Thanks for all the info, it's been a big help.

 

I ended up in a 2018 Freightliner, It's parked in my driveway right now while I wait for a new co driver. I'm pulling dry vans for CRST Expedited. I know they're not everyone's favorite mega but they got me in the door the quickest. I think I may want to go flatbed later but I don't really know enough yet to be sure what direction I'll take.

 

Ha google maps kept telling me the same thing about Atlanta on my first couple of runs. I used to work there so I decided to stick with I-285. I also picked up a rand mcnally TND740 that gave better advice.
