I completely agree with you. I already called Bridgestone warranty department. They want to see the tire and truck damages. Will see what happens.

    Thank you for your feedback

File a complaint and send pictures to the NHTSA. You can do that on their website.Have all of your documentation.
That will get Bridgestones attention (and you will find out if you’re the only one that this happened to).
Regardless how it turns out, NHTSA should be made aware of this incident.

They obviously had a problem with the GUM layer. Lot on Utube about this. “Tires that want to kill you””

Years ago I had the same thing happen on a 1 ton P/U. Had less than 4,000 miles on the tire when it blew. Tried the dealer which was a waste of time. Contacted the manufacturer and after about 6 months of fighting with them they finally paid the damage which was around $3,000.00. It got to where it wasn’t worth the fight for the money, but I was also at the point of frustration that I had decided they were going to pay if it took forever. In other words they pissed me off with their non-caring F/U attitude so I gave them the same back virtually every day until they relented.

Call your insurance company for the damages, take the truck back to the tire shop and they should install a new one, no charge. Maybe labor and balancing. Pay it and be on your way.

I had a trans put in 8 yrs ago. 1 mo later it started leaking.I had it removed and loose bolts replaced and re installed. $800 . Went back to original shop and showed him receipt had in big envelope. On front of envelope I had hotel- rental car-Lisa of revenue adding up to over $2000. I explained how it’s cost me quite a bit. Message: If I have to go to court I’m suing for $2200 . Luckily he reluctantly gave me $800

I had same deal on a wheel seal on front. 1 mo later while going through Knoxville wheel spun up tight $2000 and a spindle bearings etc later . Sappy brothers in Pa paid the bill as it obviously was due to their negligence. Hats off to them despite history I will still do business there.
