I HATE self insured worker's comp

Redneck I feel for you. I know how frustrating the workmans comp stuff can be. In august when I dislocated my shoulder they set me to a quack for three weeks. Finally I was switched to an orthopitist. It was actually my boss that had them do it. I was given an mri a few weeks ago and I got the results yesterday. I tore a tendon attached to my bicept so I am still technically on light duty. There was a position that opened up in the office so they asked me if I wanted that instead of driving so I took it. From what my doctor is saying it will be awhile before I am off of resticted duty seeing as how I still can't lift my arm. I can't complain about the insurance company to much though my case worker has been on top of things pretty good. I haven't had to worry about my checks. They ajusted the amount the fifth week. I found that out when I opened the check they sent me making up the difference. I felt like I had won the lottery. Good luck to you. I hope everything works out and you get to feeling better.

 

Listen Man, Hang Tight It took me three years to collect off my broken back, If you are in your forst chain of doctors ( yours Not Theirs ) you are intitled, I had the surgury before the Workmans Comp approved it because My doctor and my 2nd and 3rd oppenion ( His Referal ) said it was nessesary, I had the Surgury and about a year later we settled, They Paid the Doctors,Hospitals the attorneys and I walked away with $142,000.00 check By all means listen to YOUR Doctor and attorney. My wife fainted while on the clock at work when she worked with me at Wal-Mart. Now the workers comp insurance is saying it's not a work related accident, despite the fact that she had a doctors note requesting that she be given a stool to sit (she was the O/N door greeter) and the store refused to comply without a "letter of accomidation". So she was on her feet all night and subsequently fainted. We're going to have to go to the hospital where she was treated and have them submit the bills to our regular insurance. We'll only be out $50 but it's aggravating nonetheless.
