This is true. Let me amend my former post to begin with the statement “If I was a single fella....”

I know I'm just preaching to the choir on here with this one but...

I really really really really do not understand the interest in lease purchases... "Why was Stwik looking at a lease purchase?!"

Well, when I was looking into SPD I naturally looked into the rest of the Daseke companies. Specifically, Lonestar, COTC, and Steelman. COTC was too similar (in my opinion) to Melton. Lonestar was bigger than what I wanted at the time... and Steelman is basically L/P unless you live within 100 of Springfield, MO.

Seven years. Seven year average to pay off that truck. Plus you run 125k(?)miles a year average.

    Net pay? 67,000.

Is it me or does that sound like a lot of risk for virtually no reward? I believe their CO drivers are in the 65-66k range...

Those are just averages and whatnot but #### me.

.... I gotta text my buddy at TSH and find out how he's doing

No woman, no problems. How else could I afford to restore a W900A from the ground up? Gotta have my fun with cars and stuff before some woman gets her claws into me.

Guess I'll drain the coolant and pull the compressor. Removed the small cover and found metal flakes on the cover.

That's really cool!! I enjoy studying the riveted steel structures and thinking about what it took to make them happen.

Mr Ford, last year we took a vacation down into WV to Cass. Theres a nice little train ride you can go on, so we did. I didn't realize it, but before the ride my wife says, "you know, they have a shop here where they do rebuilds, and they will let you tour it"... she said I looked at her like I just saw santa claus and he just throwed 8 Michelin drives tires down our chimney.

Man, once I got in that old Train machine shop, I bout forgot all bout the train ride.
