Chizek Transportation #4

I had a talk with the owner of Chizek and he confirmed some of my suspicions as to why his company lacks drivers, he treats everyone as though they are "stupid". The owner has now less than 10 drivers and he is one of them and he expect everyone to continue to work with no home time. The owner doesn't care what happens to his equipment, his clients, drivers, mechanics, or office personnel while he sleeps in his nice cozy bed at his house next to the terminal.

One last thing, he expects his drivers to pull into a weigh station regardless if it is open or closed.

 

As funny as my post may of sounded, and I'll admit it, I am stupid for getting hired on without doing my homework on the company. I am paying for it now.

 

Along with no people skills.

 

I saw what you posted, they are in fact out of Newton. They do not have 70 drivers, they have that many power units if not more sitting in the yard.

 

Are you sure about 1/4th of the trucks are empty? Out of 100+ trucks? Have you been to Newton Wisconsin? There are 50, if not 80 trucks sitting in that yard out of 100. I've only saw 10 drivers thus far, I am one of them. If Chizek had as many drivers as 2 folks are claiming, can someone please explain to me why there are loads on Chizek's "good" trailers that have been sitting around for weeks, if not months on end that are waiting to be picked up, delivered, and/or offloaded?
