So a friend of mine bought my turbo thats a twin to the one I run. Only difference is mine has bill it wheels and the one I installed on his are forged. Also added a pdi manifold. So i got it all buttoned up and said let's go for a test ride. He said you drive ! We jumped in and took off. From my shop to top of hill is bout quarter mile. I hit 80 mph or more by then. (Speedo only goes to 80 Lol) looked at boost gauge and it was showing only 24 lbs of boost and pyro was on zero. I said Houston we have a problem. He said nah pyro hasn't worked in 3 yrs and the boost gauge sticks at 24 lbs. The look I gave him was priceless ! Are you kidding me!! Drug his butt to Peterbilt and bought a new pyro probe and I hooked up an air gauge I had laying in the shop. Also replaced fuel pressure check valve. He had only 60 lbs fuel pressure i got up to 70 at idle 90 at 1800 rpm. Test rode again. Looked over and the look on his face was priceless ! ....he was white as a ghost ! Guessed I scared him to death. So now his boost is 40 lbs and pyro got to 850 bobtailing......monster # 2 is born !!
