    Just waiting for my One Way In Transit Permit...... It has been a pain to get one..I'm from Michigan ,The Truck Sales is out of Cali , Bank is in Wyoming , and it's titled in Virginia.... Oh what fun...

    Well good morning Mr Rogers I hope everything worked out ok that truck should good now. and did you say they replaced the turbo? if so it should pull really hard, post up some more pix of your pete !! congrats you'r now the owner of one of the finest machines in the world.
    id r/r that fan clutch asap that fan being on all the time will drive you nuts

    I did not get the Blue Pete ...... I got a Red and Black 2002 Freightliner Classic XL , Detroit Series 60 430/500 10 spd... They did replace the Turbo, and CAC , Exhaust Manifold... It is putting 470hp to the ground on the Dyno down at the Detroit shop. I have a 13spd to drop in it and a new clutch while its apart in the near future... I hate 10spds .... But I will run it the way it is for a while. I have to get out to Texas to pick up my 13spd, It was a take out with 40,000 miles on it.. They swapped it out for a 15 spd and gave me the 13spd.. "Free Is Good"

    I am now waiting until Monday to pick up my truck from the Detroit shop... They are closed on sat and sun , I'm waiting for the bill to be paid and the truck to be released... This has taken a 7 days of my time so far.. They are compensating my time by pushing my first truck payment out 60 days or so.. I am glad I have family down here, saves on a motel bill...LOL

    FYI... if anyone is considering buying a tractor, I suggest they go to the Cummins website and go to to their Power spec recommendations. It can help you spec out a tractor for fuel economy or whatever. And no... the engine in whatever you're looking at does not have to be a Cummins.

    oh no no no she's NOT up for sale (knock wood) she runs great, has low miles, full custom gauge kit,, chicken lites, air ride, a/c new air seat new mat in the sleeper only asking15K.............

    Well It's a done deal... I am on my way back to Michigan tomorrow morning with my New To Me Truck.... If there is one thing I have learned out of this whole deal it would have to be (Patience) Years ago when I was younger I would have just turned around and went home last week when everything got hectic and out of control . Now I just Relax and look for the best out of a some what messed up situation. I was patient with them and they held up their end of the bargain . I even got a deferred payment out of the deal. And a lower rate on my loan to boot , which in turn lowered my payment a bit. Then we decided to go with a 36 month instead of a 24 month term which lowered the payment even more. I am very happy with the bank , They are the ones who offered the lower rate and loan terms, I did not even have to ask. He said it was for my time and inconvenience ....(That's unheard of now a days)
