Thanks so much LMB for the heads up on that one. Hubby and I will definitely be making a pit stop to Wal-Mart. Our cat will be losing a cubby hole, but that's all right. When he sees it will benefit him more too, he won't complain. :biggrin_25519:

That is exactly what I wanted to see! Thankyou!

By the way the occupational accident coverage is kinda like workers comp insurance but with lower premiums (and a limited benefit in the event you have to use it).

I am amazed that JCT does not have an over mileage fee but that just makes the program better imo.

Glad to know there are some viable lease plans out there after all.

Of course I live in the Harrisburg Pa area so I am not sure if they would consider that good or bad as far as their hiring area.

You're so very welcome Jlk. And thank you for telling me what the Occupational ACC is for. See we both learned something lol. Mr. Christner does not care where you come from. There's people from all over. The only thing he wants is that you have been actually behind the whee for the past year, and have reefer experience. And I saw how many years you have been driving so you shouldn't have problem. Not one that I can foresee anyways. Heck we did one year at England and came straight to JCT. I can at least that was the only good thing we got out of England. And I don't know if you read the part where you don't pay your lease for the first 6 weeks and he gives you $200.00 in fuel to start. Hope to see you over there. My hubby, me and my white cat are in a maroon colored International Eagle. So if you join and see say hi!.

No Gweko did you ever stop to think that maybe you do. That's why so many people want to join JCT because they know what a splendid company they are. JCT is a fantastic company and Mr. Christner and his sons care 1000% about their drivers and they are wonderful people. Just because you couldn't run with the big dogs and had to stay on the porch is not JCT's problem, it's yours. Btw, who do you drive for now? England? Swift? J.B. Hunt? Or maybe you don't drive at all. Oh now I understand, JCT probably fired you!

Took a longer vacation (trip to Europe) and after my arrival back JCT didn't want to take me back, as they said, because of "differences in personalities". The thing is I have fired my fleet mngr named c...b cos he tried to treat me like he owns me and my own truck. And accusing me of the qualcomm abuse although I was paying around 50 bucks/month for it's usage. And the whole list of other insane things. He behaved either as a schisofrenic or a drunk or under some drugs. I reported his behaviour but the management took his side, of course, cos, as somebody already mentioned here...most of them are related. That was in 2008. I did run decent miles then though...don't know how is it now miles-wise.
I brought my own truck, but...when drivers are choosing their lease-purchase trucks I asked several of them...how much does it cost, what will the payment be and for how many months before they get to keep the truck. NONE of them had an answer for me!! Now...ISN'T THAT RIDICULOUS???

You are very wrong in your assumptions about me...just explained the reasons. If you need more proofs just ask...I HAVE FOTOGRAFS OF ALL THE RELEVANT QUALCOMM MESSAGES EXCHANGED WITH MR. C...B and his supervisor who tried to convince me how c...b is one wonderful person and a GREAT fleet manager.
Besides, for most of my weekely settlements I had to call payroll because they often "forget" to include something or they claim they never got my 200, 150 and so on dollar lumper receipt.
I repeat...JCT SUCKS for many reasons and I CAN DOCUMENT IT!!!
Now tell me...how many driver would they let go and PAY ME BACK MY ESCROW and never asking me to return to them the qualcomm, the dome, the instalation, the base plate, the fuel card, the permit book...?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

And yes I still drive MY OWN long time ago payed off truck thanks for asking. But never for any of those companies youve listed above. You have no clue, but it's obviously your choice to live your life that way.
