Tip. Do not pull away from dock before checking everything to include looking for wheel chocks, even if you did not place them a dock worker may have.

Don't forget to check the dock DOT lock that hooks onto your bumper, make sure it is unhooked.

Most trailers say this truck makes wide turns. Just because you are not with a trainer n e more does not mean that this does not apply to you. Stop hitting things in truck stops.:biggrin_25525:And for heavens sake stop backing into my drivers side mirror. Ill get you one day......:biggrin_25515:

When you are driving at night, remember, Brights are only for when NO traffic is coming from the other direction! and need to be dimmed when someone is in front of you

Don't tailgate... EVER! It takes about 370' to stop one of these things at GVW and 60 mph - more if you're empty.

Wait...don't you need air to release the breaks? How are you dragging that thing out before attaching the glads?

Saw a driver hook to a trailer and drive it all the way onto the scales before he realized that he had not hooked the air up....

I tug then get under and look to see that the locking jaw is in fact around the pin. Sometimes the release arm is not fully seated and I redo the hook if that happens.
