I wouldn't :biggrin_25513: LOL I would assume no, but I've never tried Peppermint candy of any kind.

Spearmint or wintergreen is good, even Horehound is better than peppermint. :D

When I moved here, I had a mouse problem, the construction people left the doors open when they were taking their tools and crap out. So natrually the mice came in. They got into the low voltage wiring of one of the workbenches I just finished and my power wall wiring.

Now I thought I would use poison, I would use traps but about a few days I discovered the mousys, I was presented with three dead mice on my work bench. I discovered that my old tabby was in the rooms where my benches were in and he was going after the mice with a vengeance.

Now he is 18 and still going after them - this time in the garage where they got into thanks to the door gasket being ripped (now replaced).

This co2 powered trap should take care of the problem.

Peppermint does wonders by the way but it can be a pain when people can't stand the smell.

The farmer down the road from me grew it two years in a row. The last year he had surplus so I took five bushels of mint and made mint syrup to spray on trees and plants, I also hit the four wheeler and garden tractor to rid them of the spiders - it worked. Used the steam extractor for the juice and then reduced it down to a syrup. It took a while but I got a bunch of nice concentrate out of it.

However because I have a lousy sense of smell, I can barely smell it but the kids can and that's all they smelled in the house, outside and even in the cars. After a week of complaining, I told them to shut up or they will have something to complain about, but didn't so I brought in one container of mint into the house and opened it up and made mint soup on the stove before I woke them up. when they got it, I told them now they have something to complain about.
