LaHood eyes taxing miles driven

I saw a movie once a long time ago,you had to put in money to a meter
attached to your shower to get one, if thats the future it sure looked scary.

 

I may be wrong, but I think it was California(imagine that!) that wanted to tax soft drink companies because the high fructose corn syrup in all soft drinks, was rotting the teeth of children, and making people fat.

 

As long as people agree with more taxation, there will be no ending.... Government in this country is already huuuge and getting totally out of control, but people don't seem to care... it's scary. I will not remain here if this country continues on the path it's going.

 

I still believe this is the greatest country on earth. It's just time the American people stand up and say enough is enough! This country was developed on strong beliefs of freedom and independence. Remember the term "For the People, By the People"? This government has become too powerful for it's own good, and we let it get this way. It's time we take it back.

 

I have been hearing this for a loooong time and things keep going down hill. This country has been invaded, attacked, it's bankrupted, broke, corrupted... I hope I am wrong, but don't see any movement to take this country back. If this anti-American, pro socialism, pro multiculturalism sentiment continues growing, we can kiss America good-bye. This is going to be just another third world country, and we will be paying through our noses for all the problems here and in the rest of the world... with taxes, taxes and more taxes.
