I thank you very much on your good wishes LandShark...I will be surely needing all of luck and brains, especially in these extremely rough and tough times. I listed above the reasons companies don't like me...simply not dumb enough to satisfy their criteria. In spite of 7-yr perfectly clean and safest record possible, and top performance with never being late, with capability of doing miles beyond expectations...all that is not good enough. then, when it comes to paycheck, then we have "differences in personalities". So, I guess getting fully on my own seems to be only possible solution with me. We'll see how it goes...
I wish you do the same one day yourself and hope it will work for you too.
BTW... I like southeast quite a lot myself...used to live in SC and am seriously considering moving into the region again in the future. The only thing I don't like is stickiness due to humidity. I am an European from a climate similar to Colorado's.

Oh yeah...they will often (but not always!) fix the problem, but the problem that they have with me is that I have noticed and alerted about it. Then I apper to be kinda guy who is kinda never happy, talks too much and that kind of stuff... you know what i mean. If you are somewhat above average educated and intelligent, then they have a problem because you are simply not buying kind of crap they are acustomed to sell on regular basis to less educated or less intelligent drivers.
While I was working for Marten Transport, I sent on three occasions three qualcomm messages to Randy Martin: "Dear Sir, would you please be so kind and enlighten me on how exactly stupid is a driver required to be in order to be eligable to work for Marten Transport?"
My fleet mngr confirmed to me he forwarded the message to him, but I never happened to get any response.
Nor did anyone ever try to fire me. When I really after 4 years with them at one point had a bit too much, I finally decided to quit, dropped their trl in their Indy d/y and bobtailed home 700 miles on my expense.
They used to be a quality company several years ago but converted themselves into a senseless beast in no time having no respect nor appreciation for a top quality or any other driver what so ever.
