Tell you what, I don't know if my truck is gonna survive this brutal load. She isn't designed for this much abuse. I am carrying an 1100 pound load. Man that's heavy :biggrin_2559:

MACK E-6 and Farmer54 Thank this.

Yes this is definitely the job for an 18 speed and a 625 Kittycat.

Question for you guys. Actually two: Have you ever delivered to Dupont Motor Lines in Dunmore, PA and if you have, do you know if they'll take a load early? I have a load of Cascades tissue going there that's due tomorrow at 1900. I'm in Mantua, OH at the moment. It might be tough getting it there on time. :)

They never returned Customer Service's call inquiring about an early delivery. So here I am on a message board, asking about it instead.

I went there once but cannot remember the delivery details. I did park there overnight after the delivery

Really? How long ago was that? Because the dirs in the QC say no overnight. Although i I can't stay there, there should still be plenty of parking at the Scranton Petro even later in the evening since it's the weekend.

About year and a half ago. I directly asked the people at the warehouse. I can't recall what the QC said about parking at the time. I left out of there early in the AM the following day before their day got started. That Petro fills up early but being the weekend maybe not.

    .

I stayed there a couple weekends ago and was surprised at how many open spots there was. I can't remember what time I rolled in, but it was after dark. I guess I'll take a chance and see if they'll let me stay. I have a preplan that I want to get rolling with as soon as possible so I can deliver that in time for it to be on this week's check and it's going to Georgia.

Yeah I had a preplan too and knew I could get rolling out of there early. I want to say it took awhile to be unloaded and I had gone off duty and had a couple hours into my 10 done and did not want to start over. It was later in the evening and I was worried about finding parking. Not sure if you have been to Dupont before but the whole area at and around the receiver was old school industrial and not monitored at all.
