Ok so I just want to share something rather odd that happened, so I bought an old freightshaker two weeks ago, everything working fine, well going down the road my oil pressure starts dropping so I go to shop to have it checked with an external guage, it checks fine so I put a new guage in, well about 30 miles later the oil pressure starts going down down down now I'm in panic mood, so I make it home and change oil maybe it's to thin, well im curious so I stick my finger in the drain hole to feel for anything and just so happens I fell something, now I'm heartbroken, so I drop the pan assuming the worst and what do I find out of anything that could have been in there, a pair of freaking (SUNGLASSES), Oakley almost cost me an engine.

They are not your problem. They got their when your problem was created. Trying to find what some one else did wrong can be trying

I agree, last guy that worked on that motor probably realized his future wasn't so bright anymore so he wouldn't be needing those shades

Free pair of pricey sunglasses. Good thing you caught it before they caused a real problem.

Truck gettin hot going uphil, never happened before, was overhauled with an inframe ( PAI aftermarket ) engine has abouth 550 miles after repaired, temp raising to to 250
Changed water thermos, got new 190 temp put in, new water pump, last was bad, new oil pump since the oil pressure was dropping to 20 with new pressure and bypass regulatos, new water and oil pressure sensors. Oil changed with new filters and new water.
Truck is at 170 temp going 68 about 15 rpms, ut the moment it hits a hill, temp goes up and alarms go off.
I broke down 3 times in the same spot, I-10 SB about 70 miles south from El Paso on my way to San Antonio, theres a long hill that my truck didnt like at all, 3 times, no jk. Have been out for 4 days. Mechanic check the main bearing and number one once he took the pan off to change the oil pump, everything looked fine, no blue on the metals.
    What am i missing?
Fan comes on hard, not the fan clutch.
    Radiator maybe?
I was able to make it over the hill and kept going, have to stop every time i hit a hill to let it cool off if its a long one.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated, since im already down 3000 and this thing still not working right

Sounds like radiator. I have same problem just made it through another summer. Had to stop 2 Times this summer before it got real hot. Before buying new radiator remove air to air and A/C condenser. ( leaving lines hooked up) and clean and comb fins straight Meanwhile you can use degreaser and hit with water from backside first. Don’t use pressure washer may damage fins. Then put on high idle around 1500 with fan on and spray from front side sucking water through air to air and condenser and radiator . A good cleaning may fix problem. I flushed the inside of mine about 6 Times with a rust remover sold at Harbor Freight a few yrs back. It worked as Truck was hot all the time before. The same company sells same product made for radiators for dbl the price. It didn’t hurt aluminum and really would only use if on limited funds.Bottom line either air flow is blocked or inside radiator is clogged . Try cleaning everything outside. Before replacing Radiator Another option would be to unhook radiator hoses and block off Put a couple gallons $20 ea of rust remover at Harbor freight let sit overnight and flush. This stuff can be reused till it turns black really works good. Never use anything w/ acid as it will plug aluminum quick. All of the professional cleaners used for cleaning residential A/C coils have acid and need to be rinsed thoroughly and of I used them would spray with baking soda mix to neutralize acid before rinsing. Any brake cleaner or detergent is really all that needed. Good Luck .
