The standard height. But it depends on operation also.
For some reason. ON mine. If I'm lighter. The truck is heavier. When I"m fully grossed for the load I haul. The trailer is heavier. I can haul 97k. But the loads I currently haul only come in at 90 - 92. The trailer is 2k heavier.
About 85 makes both axles even. Less and the truck is heavier. The load i can get 97 with. Has no scale so I have no idea on those numbers between the 2 axles.
My drives and drop are 22 tires. The rest are 24.
You guys that have the same size tires. Might have a different scenario then how mine plays. -
Tire size on the tank, rear discharge vs center discharge, single compartment or multiple- is imagine these all factor in.
@Cat sdpsnowman_w900, ChicagoJohn and Shock Therapy Thank this. -
What is stanards height???
-
Center drop (double conical) or propane tank you kinda want to be level.....
Everything else the higher the fifth wheel the better........
I got 24.5 talls and like 3-4 inch legs on the 5 th wheel. I’m not sure what it measures tho.Ruthless Thanks this. -

Thatd be very low. Box trailers that are 110” inside height require 47.5” fifth wheel height.I glide 47 and slim shady Thank this. -

Soooooo..... are you sticking with your claim that fifth wheel heights for tankers are 42”?
I don’t pull tankers. My fifth wheels on both my trucks are 54” top plate height. They are higher than most: but not by a foot. -
Ruthless Thanks this.
