Picked that up just before I left Washington, 1974 F-250. I bought it from my neighbor who bought it new at the local dealership in 74. Took me a year to get him to finally sell it.

Honestly, I've spent a whole 3 days there since moving so other than Dillons being in the same place not much else I've been too concerned about. I did pull into the "outlet mall" on the way back from Wichita because I needed something from the kitchen store. It was gone and in general that place looks like it's on the final leg before being leveled. Maybe Newton and Harvey County should have put some of the money they blew on the non-existent wind-energy industrial complex into something more productive like the outlet mall. I do see they are still paying out almost $400k a year in salaries for that $20 Million waste of land that is still a wheat field. It's been several years since they started that mess and to this day, still not a single piece of development out there but the poor residents of the city/county are paying ridiculous personal property taxes, sales tax and the biggest one, the water/sewer charges (avg water/sewer bill for a family of 4 in Newton is >$200 a month).Feedman, OLDSKOOLERnWV, Crusader66 and 9 others Thank this.
