Gotta narrow it down a bit, driver.

What's your preference? Van, flat, tanker, reefer, other?

Do you already have your CDL, or are you looking for training?

What is your "Holy Grail" job, and what will it take to get there?

Think it over and get back to us.

    BigBob410 and TripleSix Thank this.

There are hundreds of trucking companies that will either provide you training, inexchange for a contract period you will work for them after school, or that hire new CDL holders. About half of trucking companies that hire drivers right out of CDL school offer tuition reimbursement.

If you've only had a class C driver license for 8 months you will probably have some difficulty getting hired with a CDL at most companies. Trucking company insurance providers often require they only hire drivers that have had some sort of driver license for 1-2 years.

What would you answer if someone asked "what kind of food should I eat?" It depends on many factors. You need to tell us where you live. What kind of trucking you want to do. How often you need to get home. Is it more important to be home often or make more money and get home every few weeks. Etc. You can't just watch a YouTube video, ask a question and start making big money in trucking. You need to ask specific questions. Don't lease a truck from a trucking company.
