Night time is the best way to go. I become more tired when i drive in the day time. Guess im nocturnal. Just beware of the half asleep truckers swaying from lane to lane.

Night time is the best time. I work a lot of nights, generally about 2 weeks a month. Get asked all the time "What are you looking for", "Why you guys out tonight". I guess because I'm out I have to be looking for some super trucker.

Texas DOT, locals, county, state, everyone is out day or night.. I see them hiding on the side of the road usually in the same place each night. There are times they will come from what seems no where, but they are there.. There is a scale on I-30 I believe Exit 259, that is closed at night, but you can be sure, that come morning it is usually open..
