Haven't received my actual license yet. Wait on endorsements?

How does that work. unfortunately i didn't get my endorsements when getting my permit. my school told me it might slow it down because if i fail haz mat, doubles/triples, or tanker i couldn't get my permit until i passed all. So they said to play it safe and do only the basics.

SO now i want my endorsments and was told i can't try to get them until i receive my Real Picture Drivers license in the mail and then go in to get endorsements. And then ill have to get yet another License i the mail. Does this sound right?

I was hoping to just go down there now today and do the tests and have them just register in the system etc.

Im in So. Cal. by the way.

 

Just got off the phone with phone and he told me i have to wait to get my license in the mail before i take the the endorsments test. annoying...
I'm just wondering is that true

DMV line is busy and no one can tell me

 

I had thought maybe they did this because they were pushing a company to work for but ALL that was BS because i had asked may times about these supposed company and apparently is was ALL TALK

yes its true
i have to wait for my photo CDL class A in the mail
and then when possess the License
then when i take the future endorsement tests and pass
i have to surrender my new picture/photo license again and
be issued another temporary paper one with the endorsements again
and wait 3 weeks for the new endorsment CDL class A

wish my school would have made this clear instead of telling me to just do the
basics. I want ed to get my endorsements they said it would have messed things up and
slowed things down.

Unfortumantley most school have different agendas and motivations for sure.
