4500-5000 gross a week sounds closer to what I'd guess they're paying. I have no idea what they deduct or what discounts they offer, though.

A week sounds a lot better than a month. Just not to sure if it's worth the added wear and tear. Just havnt received a phone call back from the companies that I applied for.
-
In reality its between 3.5k 4k a week take home
Pros: work all year long , cheap insurance, office staff is awesome they always communicate with you and treat you like you matter, fuel discounts with fuel surcharge it comes out to $1 to 1.20 a gallon
Cons: mountain driving in winter, it can be challenging but its doable, some trailers are junk but they are king soopers trailers so it's not really on them.
They also have a lot of front range stores they deliver to ,and also up and down I 25 and couple on the plains
And by the way max weight u pulling combined is 65k
There are a lot of drivers in this company that been there for 15 years+ and are happy so I guess they are doing something rightLast edited: Oct 7, 2018
Coloradoman and loudtom Thank this. -
Is there a lot of night driving
-
I take it that you work for them?Toniblunt Thanks this.
-
For us it was almost entirely night driving. Preloaded trailers would be ready in the afternoon, live unload appointments were usually around 6pm-10pm, with drop and hooks going until the early morning. I'm guessing they've got morning loads, but we never saw them. I prefer driving nights because of traffic.
-
Do you have to run back empty?
-
From what they told me, you pick up an empty trailer where you drop the loaded one and head back.
-
It you run at night I could see it being a lot easier
Coloradoman Thanks this. -
Yes, except some of the dock areas are dark and really tight. I'd still rather deal with that than traffic, though.Coloradoman Thanks this.
