I'm sure he will. I wouldn't...but I'm the odd duck around here. I will help anyone who asks and loan things I have if needed. I am more selective about loaning things I use to earn a living, but still willing. But if they prove once they can't take care of things my willingness to give them a second opportunity goes away.

Her dad is normally strong willed but on a deal like this he becomes a milquetoast.

Some might call me an arsehole....maybe they're right. But I'm consistent and fair. And my kids and everybody else knows it...so when they borrow my stuff it comes back in good shape.

    MHC Kenworth Savannah saga continues.

So by 9:30 last night I was tired, hungry and ready for a shower. I walk inside to ask if they thought they were going to get a chance to look at my truck otherwise I would come back this morning. The tech, Terrance was extremely apologetic because they had not even been told I was there waiting. Both techs immediately came out to the truck, hooked it up, determined I had a bunch of misfires 3 engine hours earlier. They pulled it in to run some more tests and determined that it may need the overhead run however there were a couple more tests to run first. However at this point it was closing time (11:00 PM) so I left with plans to return at 8:00 AM this morning when they opened.

And I did, rolled through the gate at 7:55 AM, parked in the designated parking area, walked inside to let them know I was there waiting again. I was met at the service entrance door by the service manager and what a complete $$$$$ this guy is. I was trying to let him know I was back after spending 15 hours there yesterday, he gave me attitude, never even bothered to let me talk, told me I would have to wait just like everyone else, bla bla bla. Told me to go set in the lounge or in my truck and they'll get to me when they have time. I took option 2, sat in the truck. Then I thought real hard about what he "told" me to do, and what he didn't tell me. He didn't tell me that I couldn't drive off so I took it upon myself to try that portion of option 2 and left.

They did call me a half hour later because they couldn't find me (I'm a half a block away) and likely I would have went back except I could hear this tool in the background still running his mouth trying to tell the very nice girl on the phone what to "tell" me if I wanted my truck worked on. I told her to close the ticket and loose my number because as long as that guy in the background was employed there my truck will never grace the gates of that dealership again unless it's on a hook and I have no other choice.

These cowboys are pretty hard on trailers. I don't think I'll ever run out of stuff to do with this crew. Replacing the hitch on this three year old GR stock trailer. IMG_20181009_085143.jpg

And the bright side is I've gotten to know them pretty well. So now if they need a truck they call me closer to first rather than last. I've got a load of calves to take out to skull valley this afternoon.

Out of curiosity I went to Uber's price calculator to see how much it would cost to take me to work. It was between $70-85 a day, and bet there's a premium for getting me at 1-3 am. So its between $350-400 a week.

Since its such a great deal, I am putting my vehicles up for sale immediately. Big savings here we come!
