Ahhhh. Refreshing. I'll probably start out at about 0200. Getting 10 hours 38 minutes back at midnight.

I also plan on day driving as much as possible.

    But sometimes gotta Git-R-Done.

Like I posted up in Anthony Texas yesterday at about 1600. Still had about 3 hours left, but El Paso in unbelievably monkeyed up right now with construction, and at the start of rush hour..........fuhget about it.

So I left at about 0345 this morning.

Why didn't I spend another hour and close the gap this morning? Cause I'm at a good truck stop, and another hour puts me in no man's land.

I spend probably, well I'll say over 90% of my time driving during the day, but this is how it goes sometimes.

Take that loop around El Paso it's never busy I can't think of the road number right now but you go up over the mountain and the view is spectacular.

Spectacular grade and a ton of extra miles too. And at 1600 in the afternoon, it's also not what one would call deserted.

It might be 10 extra miles and spectacular grades are what I enjoy most about this job.

I won't fight you for them. You can have as many as you wish, and can take some of mine. I'm thinking it's about 18 more miles.

Ignore X1. He's full of it. He's not even a driver, so anything that he says he actually does is a lie.

sorry, but i can believe companies tell thier drivers to park it when the weather is bad, like a severe snow storm.

but i cannot believe they tell thier drivers to park when it's dark.

what have we got here, a bunch of babies behind the wheel now..???

afraid of the dark? from the big boogieman..???

    it's trucking 101.

you drive when your 10 is up, or your 34.....

stay away from the truckstop counter.....stories there will get to your gullible side.

I cracked a joke a long time ago thinking if Trucking became 9 to 5 with 2 week appointments to run 1000 miles...
