I was at 80k gross, just a hair over. And my rear end SUCKS. This thing is geared great for fuel economy, but it is horrible in the mountains.

If anyone's gonna be in Raphine tonight, lemme know. This is by far the worst load I've ever hauled. The will be beer tonight, let there be no doubt.
-
Raphine is one of my favorite stops for sure. Yeah, you know where.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

Wassup beotches? On hometime at my lil sister's house in Perry GA. Takin the week off as the Lord knows I need it. Hot breakfast of eggs, cheese grits and Southern cured ham.
Lounging in the living room now with a good movie and a cold Bud. Supper tonight is salmon croquettes with butter beans, real mashed taters and hand squished biscuits made with lard.
I don't gloat often but I haven't had this treatment in years.
Bestest ever hometime.Suspect Zero and Steelersjunkie Thank this. -
Of course I know where!
It's so nice to have a light load again (23k) and get away from 68. Cheers y'all.

Who else got their clock murdered by hurricane evacuee traffic today? I65 in Alabama is a mess. Took me 9 hours to get from Cedar Springs to the Petro in Dodge City. I can only imagine what 75 and 95 are like in Georgia.

I feel your pain. Last year I had to deal with Florida evacuees. Total nightmare. But, much better than being in their shoes for sure.
-
Yeah I hosted two evacuees and their dogs last year. Two good friends from Tampa.... while I was in the middle of packing up my house to move. Fun times.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

Also, since I didn't get around to mentioning it yesterday, but I hope whoever though it would be cool to put a Walmart DC in Douglas, Georgia got fired.
Steelersjunkie Thanks this. -

Then off to Avon grab load to drop in Trenton then up to Springfield OH get loaded for Sparta WI. After we drop in Sparta its up to BRF so my student can test out for his truck. Another 1 bout complete, and pick up the next 1 the following week. 88 degrees in Rochester right now, and saying in the 20s om Thursday in Sparta lol. Im not ready for this ####
