Yup, I have a couple. Remember to relax. We all started right where you're at. You're going to have a lot to soak in, and in a very short amount of time. It'll seem overwhelming, but just relax. Like @keen98 said, if you need help just ask. Drivers here and at school will absolutely help you, Millis drivers are good people. Good luck man. And remember to have some fun as well :D

Yo, Millis folks. Do NOT take US 35 anytime soon. If you have a load that takes that road, find another route. It's currently shut down in both directions. I've been sitting still for almost 2 hours now.

Bill is a good instructor. Quirky as #### sometimes, but he knows what he's doing. Practice all you can on the backing range on range week. At least to me, backing up is the hardest part of this job, so better to kill some cones now than to kill a trailer, somebody's truck, or somebody later on.

I have found it easier if my tandems are further back, but not all the way back. More like "barely legal" back. I hate trying to back up with my tandems all the way forward. Because like you said, you don't know where the back of your trailer is without GOALing 2894984 times.

Fortunately I didn't reload from there. Are you talking about the place over on Calumet? I looked at it on Google and it doesn't look terribly awful... but not particularly fun either. At least you can sight-side into it.

Speaking of which.. I saw a guy blind-side back into a parking spot yesterday and made it look better than I've ever done backing in sight-side. Granted he had empty parking spots on both sides so he didn't have to worry about hitting anything, but still. It was humbling.

There are a few places I go where tailswing makes things pretty much impossible.
