Did you post this?
If so, consider Texas or Nevada. No personal state income taxes in both states and no food taxes in Nevada. Plenty of good trucking jobs in both states.

I lived in Elmira for 2 years (my wife was born & raised there) after we married in 1978. Both of us couldn't wait to get back to sunny California after 2 miserable winters of blizzards, etc. LOL
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
It will be hard to avoid winter driving in New York.
Check the LTL companies for linehaul position. Easy job if you don’t mind night driving. Many are lowering the experience requirements.Oldironfan Thanks this. -

You could always move to Horseheads
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
My oldest son was born in Elmira. When my wife went into labor, I rushed her to the hospital during a heavy snowstorm in our 67 Volkswagen Bug. I slid right past the emergency room entrance LOL.
