    I suppose they could make the argument the springs were chafing the lines. Be BS but they could make it.

    They could say the line could kink because the springs aren’t attached to the gladhand anymore.

    My old lines had no springs on them. Rubber lines not those plastic POS. The new ones do but they are under the handles.

    I agree, also most likely what the DOT was keying on that day. Some times they key on HOS sometimes its lights or tires and sometimes it is things like this.
