Well, that goes to show what I don't know about the company, they must have passed them down and not traded them in

Not saying you're right or wrong...

BUT, Mike seem interested in holding onto trucks passed the typical "selling block" period as long as he could find someone to run it and it wasn't costing them too much money in maintenance.

Sounds like SPD has been too busy to let go of any equipment lately.

IMG_8097.PNG Remember me posting about a guy falling off his trailer in NY, and I took care of his chains??

Well now we get to build hand rails before loading or unloading, and then take it back apart when loaded or unloaded.

Sounds like Alcoa to me :)

“I need to put a rail on a deck I’m not gonna walk on?”

    “Yes driver.”

“But I can’t be on the deck until I leave the dock? Then I gotta pull over there to the tarping station?”

    “Yes driver.”

“You see how stupid that sounds?”

    “Yes driver.”

Starting you off with an elevator? Well it can only go up from there! Are you otr or an Otis guy?
Jerry Lee is still in his. I think they put a driver in Russ’s truck after he retired. Not sure about the other two and we all know about the campfire in virg’s truck!

I was working at the Hutchinson Alcoa plant when they created their "Drape the tarp over the load with an overhead bridge crane" system. Lots of torn up tarps and lots of mad drivers.
