my ideal truck i know this is gonna sound unfair and biased but its gotta be the truck im driving now even though its a company ride it's just right
not too much chrome but not to little
perfect amount of lights
good motor and tranny set-up with not many miles on either
extremely reliable
2001 model year so no emissions crap
nice color
only thing i would change if i were to buy it
tune her up to a 550 (that be in the works next time i get in to the shop)
throw a drop visor on (again that may be in the works)
new seat (again that may in the works)
change over all the chicken lights to LED
hollowed out muffler (of course)
couple more pieces of chrome not much though
and maybe just maybe stip the paint on the fenders and go with a polished look like the 379X's
straight pipes?

I Would be very interested space, but my wife has a year of school left before shes a nurse and right now I'm the only income for our family so as time being i need to have steady income and not stress about breakdowns and such...
when my wife is a nurse I will be ready to "dive right in" so to speak and be ready to buy a truck! -
Logan I understand ,I been running this thing for 12 years on and off with no brakedowns but I also realize anything can happen at any time.It has made over a million dollars out of the 9500 I paid for it. Better return than the stock market don't you think. Most of the guys down here by me that make fun of me are running the Chinese tires and paying big payments
Logan76 Thanks this. -
That's one heck of a return on that truck space, I love those old cabovers!
Hey fisher, it looks like you have 5" straights on there right now correct? -
6 inches old school haha

I had a 4 inch, from the turbo/exhaust brake back with a turnout in front of the rear duals on my Dodge, no muffler, it sounded nice but after a while it got to me, if I would of kept it much longer, I'd of put some type of muffler on it just to knock the edge off of it.. It made to much noise going into high dollar subdivisions picking cars up. With the Pete, I roll in and don't bother anyone.
