straight pipes?

I had that feeling once. I was like “oh my jakes are LOUD!”, I could hear my throttle echo off the surroundings! Then I noticed I had a hole in my Y-pipe ... hmmm I had a few days of glory

 

Even though this is an old thread revived. I like this guys thinking and I agree.

 

Meaning what exactly? Meaning you'd actually kill somebody for putting your truck out of service?

The one poster talking about using a trailer for a motorcycle just to ride it a block...I see those kind of folks all the time. Nice bike. Don't ride it but twice a year an only if both days are going to be nice, with no chance of rain. Very rare weekend warriors as I call them. Quite annoying to at times. Like diva's on a prissy pill at times. Quite entertaining though. A pack of them will keep you amused for a couple hours.

I saw this show on HBO a few years back about a certain percentage of the male population. It went on to explain the medical procedure that helps individuals suffering from macro #######.
I often wonder if these guys with very loud trucks are overcompensating for short comings elsewhere in their lives.

 

It’s all preference. I love and enjoy it the straight 7” pipe sound. It’s no difference then running a performance car/truck with uncorked headers, or running a muffler that almost gives you that uncorked header sound with a high lift cam. We all have different taste..... but I will admit that they are a few that will ruined it for a few of us that are always running the jakes for every stop on so on. So in closing.... call it what you want.... i guess i do have mental issues. But who doesn’t.......
