You know, there are boats and planes leaving the United States everyday, if you don't like it here, why don't you go somewhere that you might be happy? :biggrin_25525:

I hope so, for your sake. I'll pray that God enlightens you. And I do mean that sincerely.

You are just way too generous. How will I ever be able to repay you for that?

No need to repay me, I'm doing it out of the goodness of my heart.

Perhaps you should read the post again. Already said I planned on that. :) I love the USA. It USED to be a great country where people of every race, color and creed came together to build a great place to live and have a family. Now it seems that everyone wants to be a hyphenated American and be as separate from each other as possible, such as wanting everyone to speak their language, use their religion and so on. So do I love the way this country has gone in the last two decades? Heck NO! Try leaving for 10 years and come back. You'll see what I mean. Can it be saved? Depends on every single person that lives here. It doesn't seem that there is any desire to do so. I fully agree with you: "If you don't like it here why don't you go somewhere that you might be happy?" What I've written is NOT an attack on anyone or even the states. It is just a statement as to my personal feeling. In as much as everyone is entitled to their own opinion (are we still allowed that here or has that changed, too?) I also choose to leave a shell of a place I used to know and had served from 1982 - 1990 in the military.

    Gweko Thanks this.

Actually I didnt take it as an attack on the United States. I took it to be a post from a person who would rather be somewhere else than here. I have no problem with anyone stating their opinion, remember, our ancestors fought for that right... The United States, in my opinion, is still the greatest country in the world. And yes, there are problems, serious problems that need to be fixed. And they will be. Thank you for your military service. Thank you for protecting the country that I still love and don't want to leave and thank you for protecting my rights as an American citizen. :biggrin_25525:

I thought Scuba just told it like it is: I didn't take any offense to it at all. Also, I thought of moving to Aussieland for the motorcycle freedoms they have; but I found out it's just a tradeoff for ours. What's legal here isn't there and vice versa.
I would imagine that a lot of stuff is like that.
