I don't understand how this thread got revived then, unless it was a ignored person on my list. That's the only possibility.TravR1 Thanks this.

Yes, its loud. You do get used to it however. It took me about 2 months to get used to. Sometimes I wear ear plugs if there is stuff in the sleeper rattling around or the driver has the stereo up loud.
When i come off hometime the first night is usually sleepless while I readapt to all the moving.
Location also matters. Driving through the Rockies a lot of turns, and sharp turns will throw your head into the driver side wall. Lol. I had that the other night. Some roads are just very bumpy. Interstates in Michigan and Colorado come to mind.
But team driving paychecks are big! $$$$Canadianhauler21 Thanks this. -
When i was in training 18 yrs ago i tried sleeping in top bunk. Couldnt. I was bouncing all over the place.

I had a codriver that wouldn't wake me up in the top bunk. He would just start driving, I'd wake up to being thrown all over the place and the truck flying down the interstate. Everything on the top bunk is magnified. That #### pissed me off. If your codriver is nice enough to let you have the bottom bunk, do the courtesy of waking him up before you roll. It's against most company policy not to and it's just rude.
