Made Prawda last night, had to PC the last few miles because of snow in Ontario. Should hopefully work out okay with the office. I hope.

Going out Tuesday again, no idea where, but hopefully somewhere that brings me back through Lake Station, IN.

That looks like a very nice flatbed truck. I would love to have the side boxes on the frame.

A little history about Spd. For the longest time we never bought new equipment. Always old used up junk. Then Daseke bout us and we started getting all new trucks, if you were a team. Solos never got new trucks only team trucks with 200k miles on them. Teams also pull vans and quickdraws. That’s why almost every truck is truck is a double bunk condo.

In the last few years solo started to get new trucks also but they were still being ordered as team trucks.

This year we have started to shift to some more non aero trucks. A round of w9b’s for some of the senior drivers, two rounds of t800’s for wing trucks. They just ordered another round of t800’s for some regular od guys.

So who knows maybe we will get some midrood 680’s.

 

I couldn’t agree more. I know most don’t share my thoughts on this, but I don’t think this is a bad lookin rig.



This was the company truck I drove before I bought my KW. I took a lot of pride in keeping it clean and polished as much as this crappy oilfield work would allow.

Course I prefer old school, but this wasn’t bad at all.
