Queen City Truck Stop. Meridian, MS. Old school restaurant and menu. Usually have classic southern dishes on the lunch and dinner specials. All the locals eat there.

Forget the name. Tallapoosa Ga maybe?
Newbern Truck stop exit 5 IIRC. Past the pilot on the right. And they sell those cool clocks. -
Is that the place that allows smoking and smells like a full ashtray? Food is not what it was in years past but it’s okay. I removed that place off my preferred stops list about a year ago.

Canton, TX. Small truck stop at 20 and 19. Walk across the street to Dairy Palace. Best burgers and shakes and hard ice cream you’ll find anywhere.
Swiss Mountain Dog, arrogant steve and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Speaking of which there should be a Bonsian or Eastern European Truckstop down in the eastern part of Texas, probably off 35 somewhere that was once really good. I have no idea if they are still in operation. Their beef was something to treasure.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
I went to arby's last night.
Today I may go to Jack's, in Lincoln, AL.
I like consistancy.
