No but I tried hard to own it lol. It belongs to a freind who after letting it set for a few years is getting around to fixing it. It's a very nice truck, notice the orange frame? Paint is weathered on the sleeper now, and the yellow color is bleeding through. It has a connection to Montfort.
He drives the white A model in the pics I posted last night. I was helping him on a transmission couple years ago when he ask me, Jim, do you know the first time I ever met you? No I replied. He then continued.... he said I was kicked out of high school for a few days, so I hung out at the Bus barn. One of the Bus drivers owned a 1978 cabover aerodyne Kenworth, Mr. Gue was his name. Yep I knew him I said, yes you drive it in to the bus garage one day I was there, mechanic put a wheel seal in so you could take a load to Texas.
Funny I had no clue who he was at that time, and years later we meet up again still not knowing him and now very good freinds. That was in the earlier 90's when all this BS about cdl's was hot and heavy, I was driving this truck, with a chauffeurs license. And no power steering.snowman_w900, Shock Therapy, rank and 16 others Thank this. -

You and Board Hauler have me yearning for the good old days this morning. I got on the scene a little too late to actually participate in the " good old days ". But that's okay, I'm just gonna have to remember that today can be a good new day if I try.Boardhauler, Shock Therapy, rank and 14 others Thank this.
