Has anyone had issues with both beams working properly on the trux led projector headlights? I've got a '97 379 that I'm trying to put these on and I'll plug them in according to what the instructions show and the lo beams, halos, and marker/turn signal works fine. Then i'll hit the hi beams button and everything goes out but the actual lo beams stay on, no hi beams come on and the halos and marker lights turn off as well. So i tried switching the lo and hi beam plug ins around to where the hi beam plug in on the headlight is hooked up with the lo beam outlet on the truck and lo beam on the headlight is hooked up to hi beam outlet on the truck. Now all the lights work including hi beams, only problem is the truck is still on the lo beam setting. Was wondering if anybody had any thoughts?

There are LED replacements for halogen bulbs without needing a new headlight assembly.
About $75
superbrightleds.com
Or search on amazon, etc
Aftermarket HID "xenon" kits are not reliable. Ballasts and ignitors go bad fast or bulbs turn blue/purple which is extremely annoying to other drivers.
Thanks -
Been running my HIDs since 2015. Not an issue. Same igniter and ballast assemblies.

My cheap fog lamp HIDs from DDM are still running after 5 years but they changed from white to blue about 6 months in.
Luck of the draw like everthing.
My led licence plate bulbs starting flickering 4 years later, not exactly a lifetime (of the vehicle) but road vibrations can kill any electronics. -
Thats why David at Deepspace uses the components he does at deepspace. Mirabota is pretty high end stuff and Bosch HID bulbs. Also he owns a Volvo VNL RV that he uses his own kit on. The dude stands by his product that is for sure.

I have the
Volvo VNL Bi-Xenon (HID) Headlamp Kit for sale, brand new, open box.
The reason I never used them was because when I was unbolting the headlights (after I made them crystal clear) the bolts were so rusted and seized that I ended up torquing the stupid plastic headlight cases and they broke. So I bought a pair of brand new ones, and was going to throw in the kit once the bulbs started getting old. I sold the truck before they did.
I'm up in Canada (west coast) but I'm sure we can work something out if anybody is interested in buying the kit.KB3MMX Thanks this.
