no, you do not have your CDL, you check...NO.
but if there is a space to make remarks, inform them you are IN CDL school.Oldironfan, SixShooterTransport and John A. Thank this. -
That's what I was thinking at first. Then I starting thinking about boys automatically rejecting my app...
Oldironfan and Badmon Thank this. -
Well ask yourself the question do you currently have a CDL yes / no ? Maybe its a special test to see how honest you are? In some places they'll give you like a multiple choice option eg (1) Current student (2) Have CDL no experience (3) 1 - 6 months experience (4) 7 - 12 Months experience (5) More than 12 monthsOldironfan and John A. Thank this.

Yes, if you have your CDL at the time of making the application you say yes. If not you say no. Also there might be a box for a permit. This is going back to advice give many times before. Answer those questions honestly and don't provide information not asked for!John A. Thanks this.

NO NO NO NO.
If YOU DON'T have CDL, CHECK NO.
If by some miracle you DO have a CDL, check yes. And move on to a trucking company.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Sorry. Thought you were asking about a George Strait song.
Oldironfan, Ryan423, Kyle G. and 2 others Thank this. -
The question is “Do you have a CDL,” and the answer is “No.” Don’t waste anyone’s time with a lie on your application.
Honestly, you shouldn’t even be filling out applications on your first day of driving school. Many people start and don’t finish for various reasons. Why would any company want to hire you knowing that you may or may not even get your CDL? -
Check "no" and if there's a place for "student" check that.
You can also call the companies toll-free number if the application doesn't seem to fit your "student" situation.
Good idea to start submitting applications now, since you're already in school. Submit as many as you want; the more the better.localguy65 and John A. Thank this. -
When to apply?
Just following advice from this board....Chinatown Thanks this.
