Well it would only be fitting for @wore out to be takin his grandkids on trips with him then, he could add on behind his sleeper. It would bring new meaning to the term "condo", lol.

Don't get me wrong, I still think that it is better to have an employee who is constantly thinking about the business end even if they do end up going out on their own. I did the same thing.

Two rounds of these local. One was done today, the other I pickup at 7 am. Unload at 10am. Then across town to a pickup headed to northern Texas.

Company I’m training at now is teaching me some of the business side, along with the shop side and yard and delivering. Kind of nice to be able to move to a higher position if given the chance.

If it's not airplane parts, DOD, DOE then I don't know of anything in the company policy against it. And even at that, some of those pictures make their way to social media however the customer cannot be named as they could potentially find it in a google search. Then there's the company troll that trolls these forums, never EVER posts anything but will drop a dime within seconds of a picture being posted that's not allowed. I guess if your worthless as a driver you make yourself valuable (in your own mind) being the internet police for the company.
So @stwik post pictures but know that troll will be calling in on you if he deems them to be in violation of Social Media policy. Likely you'll never hear a word about it and at worst, you'll get a call telling you to not do it again. Just some of our customers can be a bit.....weird about pictures of their stuff being posted even if it's pictures exactly as seen by everyone rolling down the road. We get people all day long, every day taking pictures and videos when we're hauling wings. Personally I don't get what the difference is however they pay us to move them and if they say no, I say okay.
This became a major deal a couple years ago after a former driver took a picture of a custom painted airplane (inside our customers property), posted it on social media and even went so far as to tag our customer in the post. Then, someone from that company posted who the plane belongs to. So, the person employed by the company got fired and we, as a company are on probation. Now we have to be escorted while on the customers property because of one driver who no longer works for the company. We're still paying the price today and today that price cost me an hour sitting outside the gate waiting on an escort so I could go 100' inside the gate to get my trailer.
Be careful what you post and never name the customer, especially in the same post as the picture. -
Looks like Doc has a key to the Doggie Police Academy
