Has this ever happened to anyone?

Years ago, I was running through the night in Knoxville. South of the scale, going downhill. The car was stopped in the middle lane, with no lights on. There was a guy standing at the car, trying to wake the driver. It was extremely dark, but I could see something in the road, and so I switched lanes. Glad I did.

It's simply amazing that more people don't get killed in traffic than what do.

Idk what would be more scary, being the driver of the car and waking up, or being a driver and just missing the car.

Several times. Usually one of the easiest DUI arrests to make, if you don't get run over. Also stopping someone heading the wrong way on the interstate on a weekend night is a good indicator for impairment. I arrested a guy one night who was at .33 BAC (4x limit). He passed out by the time I made contact with him on the traffic stop when he pulled over, in ten seconds tops.

Takes practice....last couple i hit 7&8 deer with...you get alot of experience straighten them. Hit three or four with the current one....I quit bolting the bottom brackets...seems to help.
